Virginia Moscetti

Graduate Student

Virginia is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Philosophy at Northwestern University. She holds an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and a BA in Philosophy and English Literature with Highest Honors from Swarthmore College. Her main interests lie in Kantian and Post-Kantian European philosophy, with a special focus on the political dimensions of these traditions. Currently, she is interested in exploring whether Kant's concept of the "united will" carries implications for debates surrounding the normative foundations of democracy. Beyond research, Virginia edits the series "Current Events in Public Philosophy" for the Blog of the American Philosophical Association.
