Julie Wu

Graduate Student

Julie Wu is a first-year Philosophy PhD student at Northwestern University. She holds a BA in Social Science (Political Science track), with a minor in Philosophy, from New York University Shanghai. Her research interests primarily lie in feminist philosophy, with a focus on social reproduction, care, and sexuality. Specifically, she examines 1) how systems of power and oppression organize social reproduction under capitalism and 2) how social reproduction can serve as a site of feminist contestation over meaning.
