Mohammed is a first-year doctoral student focusing on all things epistemic. In 2023, he completed a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies at Ibn Haldun University in Istanbul, Turkey. His doctoral research eventually led him to Northwestern, where he served as a predoctoral fellow from 2021-2023. During that fellowship, his interests continued to deepen and expand and eventually propelled him to pursue a second Ph.D.in philosophy. Mohammed’s research program focuses on synthesizing between traditional Islamic epistemology and contemporary anglophone epistemology.
