Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion
The department of philosophy is committed (1) to creating a research and learning environment that is free of both overt and subtle forms of prejudice and exclusion and (2) to undertaking positive anti-oppression measures to cultivate a diverse and equitable philosophical community. We welcome and value scholarship that interrogates structures of oppression and injustice. Members of the philosophy community are also engaged in a wide variety of projects and initiatives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
